Protection Policy

All children should feel safe and protected while in the Little Neuk Storytelling Centre and while attending our storytelling sessions and the environment they will experience will be warm and caring.  

Working with young children, it is our responsibility to be vigilant to any significant changes in behaviour, or physical and emotional appearance. Should we suspect any form of abuse or neglect, we have a duty to report this to the relevant authorities. 

Teresa Sherratt Fynn and Andrew Fynn have recently updated PVG disclosures and any staff who work within the centre in the future will be checked as well. 

Child Protection Procedure 

If we have serious concerns about a child, we have a responsibility to inform the social services. It is not our responsibility to investigate the situation ourselves.
